Question Xbox One Controller Wireless Issue

I have an xbox one controller (model no: 1914) that I use to play on PC (windows 11).

It works "wired" but my PC will not detect it wirelessly. I have other bluetooth devices connected to my PC (a keyboard), and the controller is discoverable to my partner's macbook.

I have tried downloading the xbox 'accessories' app, updating bluetooth drivers.

Any solutions? Please let me know if more info is needed.

Hey there,

I had similar issues with my own controller, and ended up getting the Windows Xbox Controller dongle. Bluetooth seems a bit sketchy.

At the moment, I have a XB1S controller going through an Intel Bluetooth adapter and it's been flawless so far. In the past I've also used an ASUS BT adapter that worked really well. I've long since trashed the dongle that I used since it would periodically refuse to connect.
