How much can I sell a XFX HD4870 1GB card for? I've had it approx 2 months and haven't really used it so want to get rid of it. Also sick of waiting for the flgrx drivers for the card in Fedora 11.

You could try selling it on THG or other forum sites. Sometimes you might sell it on a community listing site, I dunno, I live downunder.

You should look at major retailers etc.

Then again, you might be able to sell it someone for more than it's worth.

Yeh, sure, just be sure the PSU can handle it. Nvidia GPUs are traditionally better for Linux 😉

Whenever you sell something new, its always a loss. You might have to drop the price more to attract someone and sell it faster, but with some patience you could sell it for 20 less. Of course there are lots of angles to consider for its value. Do you still have the box and all the accessories intact and immaculate? If you can package it like new, boast it in your ad. Try finding free online classified ads, like kijiji (works in Canada, not sure about other countries).

As for Phenom and Nvidia, they work just fine, but if you go SLI, now that's fine too but the quality AMD SLI mobos are very hard to find. I use the M4N82 with a AM3 Phenom 2, no problems at all so far.

I sold a 5 year old geforce 6200 for $20 to a friend of mine.Basically he is a noob.

If you sell your product to a n00b you can get really good prices.
Try finding one (a friend or acquaintance ).

if you do the currency conversions that is what it is equal to. ify ou are talking uk sites only it can be had for around 100.00 gbp
