XFX HD4870 Heat and noise issue

Hello,

I have a XfX HD4870 on Win7 64bit, and even at idle I get 85°c and fan running at 73% ...

It's really noisy and I can't understand why I get 85°c ...
I read on this forum users with this graphic card getting 45°-55°c idle and 80° full load with stock fan !

Is there is something I can do ?

Check and see if the heatsink is making proper contact with the gpu. If it's not making contact, that's your problem. Just reapply it and you'll be fine.
