Running configuration:

  • MBO: Gigabyte z690 ud ddr4
  • CPU: i7 12700K
  • VGA: Gigabyte GF RTX3080 AORUS X, 10GB GDDR6X
  • MEM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V, F4-4000C14D-16GVK, DDR4 4000MH 4x8gb
  • PSU: Corsair 1000W HX1000, 80 PLUS Platinum
  • Fractal Celsius S36 Water cooling

I've tried enabling XMP profile, manually setting the clocks, setting CPU to Gear 2 but no luck... any setting i try i get black screen and no boot.

Any one experienced with these kind of issues? My memory currently runs on 2133Mhz, and would love to OC it to 4000MHz.

Any help would be appreciated

thank you, issue resolved
You might can make it work faster than 2133.
Set XMP then manually set the speed to 3200 save and exit, if that works go back into BIOS and manually set it to 3600.

EDIT Intel processors are not as memory speed dependent as AMD.
I under stand you would like the 4000 you paid for but it comes down to like a lot of people learn the hard way (post first buy after)
