I install windows XP today which is pain stakingly slow because my hard drive runs slow in some mode I'm not aware of, but thats a completely differen't problem.
I finally get XP installed and it sees my two hard drives that are the computer but it doesn't assign them a drive letter.
I have the OS installed on a single hard drive and I have 2 40 gig hard drives in RAID-0 for my games and for video capture, this drive shows up without problems in windows 98se but in XP they arn't assigned a drive letter. How can I fix this, and what could be causing the problem?

Is XP happy with your RAID card?? I am looking for ANY XP supported IDE controller card RAID or not. In device manager is the RAID card OK? Drivers seem to be hard to come by for IDE RAID in XP. Anyone know of a solution?
