XP found hardware that doesn't exist

For some reason, WinXP has decided that there is an Intel flat panel display on our computer. There never has been a flat panel on this or any other computer we have. What can be done to whack whatever it is that causing WinXP to find something that doesn't exist? I've gone into Device Manager at least three times & uninstalled the device but it keeps coming back.

I know enuff to be dangerous. :tongue:

That's like free hardware, and your complaining...
Just disable that device in device manager to stop if from refinding it.

check bios setting for display. some bios have option to turn on something that i not know.. but ms does.
