xp sp2 download

Why is it that when I download the network version of sp2 to my hard drive and then copy it to a cd for later installation I get crc errors. I have tried various burning programs and always get crc errors.

Maybe you should consider that when you download a peice of software you don't know what's going in it. It could be a f****d ISO. It could be anything.

The sp2 came from Microsoft's download site so I know that is good.

Soz I thought you meant you downloaded a "Windows XP with SP2" package of Bittorrent or something ma bad.

wusy, how would the ISP capping the speed prevent you from downloading properly?

But what was the speed capped at? Surely it would be a bad NIC rather than ISP speed cap causing lost packets.

I don't think the problem is with my isp or hardware because when sp1 was available I could copy it to disk with no trouble. It seems to be a problem with sp2 download. I have no problems with a cd or dvd copy.
