Hi! I would like to ask you guys a little of advice..
A friend of mine is selling me a XPS 700 for $380
I don't know much about computer parts and specs.. but what i know is i love to play games
Here are the specs he sent me
Specifications:
Intel Pentium 4 670 3.8GHZ (w/ XPS HSF, huge one! for better cooling)
Dell Nvidia 590 SLI
Dell 2GB DDR2 667 Qimonda (max. 4GB)
160gb 7200rpm Samsung(with stock cooler)
Zotac 8800GT AMP! edition GDDR3,256-bit,700mhz/2000mhz,112 stream proc (factory oc'ed, better than those ordinary 8800GT)
Built in HD 7.1 sound
Sony DVD-ROM & NEC Multi-Burner
DELL True-rated 750W (not a cheap ordinary PSU)
DELL XPS Aluminum Casing (8 LED in front and 2 at the back)
Please tell me what you think.... is it worth it?
Does xps consume a lot of power/electricity?
Considering its not a Core 2 duo.. can this rig keep up with current games like... nba2k9, mass effect.. etc..
Thank you for your time.
