Hi there,

I have a Z390 AORUS MASTER motherboard with an integrated ethernet port (Intel GbE LAN Chip (10/100/1000 Mbit)). I have a 1000Mbit internet connection, but all speed tests I do never go above 330Mbit. If I connect my laptop to the same ethernet cable I get around 900Mbit during the same tests. I've updated all drivers I could find for my motherboard and ethernet port, but it didn't help. What am I missing?

Thanks,
Serban

Look for any kind of software that claims to accelerate games or favor certain kinds of traffic. You want to uninstall it. A very common name is cfosspeed. These type of application are bundled with the bloatware you find with motherboards and video cards.

I would disable IPV6 in your nic setting, I doubt that is the issue but IPv6 has almost no benefit to have on and causes strange issues at times.
