Zalman cnps10x fit a asus maximus formula se motherboard

Will the zalman cnps10x fit a maximus formula se motherboard since i know the board has all the cooling fins close to the cpu. I don't want to order the fan and it not work. The CPU is running to hot it is an intel quad core 6600 running around 57c at idle.
