Well, I have my game, but have been too busy to play more than a couple of hours until the weekend. The graphics are cartoonish, but it looks like it really will end up being a fun game.

Anyone else have any comments or is everyone boycotting because the grapgics could have been on a whole new level for the zelda series? I figure I had to get it no matter how bad it looked, because I bought my gamecube just for this game, and I bought my N64 for zelda back when it came out.

I've never been put off by the "cell-shading" of the game when I first read about the new Zelda series. All I really care about is excellent control and a fantastic story. Based on many reviews, Windwaker is exactly that, the best Zelda of all time with a great story and gameplay.

You're not the only one. Back when I was still in high school and didn't have to spend all my money on college tuition, I did the same thing. I thought that N64 wasn't worth my money and all the games sucked. Then I played Zelda Ocarina of Time on my friend's system and absolutely loved it. After that, I just HAD to buy an N64 just to play that game, and I eventually sold it right after I finished the game.

Man, if I weren't so broke from college, I'd buy a GameCube just to play this game as well.....

Disregard my previous post.
