new fan... my ryzen 7 came with the wraith cooler of which i installed only the fan header so that the fan itself and the rgb with no control was used. it came with pre applied thermal paste. yes i plugged it into the cpu fan header and not a system fan header.

the only way i see it working is converting the drive to mbr using diskpart. i’ve tried so many things and please don’t ask if i plugged things in correctly. unless there’s something hidden with the order you plug them in or something then don’t ask i’m not stupid and i didn’t forget to plug in...

from what i see the 1600 is compatible with the b350 tomahawk and im going to update the bios anyway because i believe its from 2017 so maybe, just maybe.

not to long ago i bought a ryzen 5 1600 to put in my computer to find out it didnt work. i still have no idea why other than it was doa because i have a 1300x in the computer now and it works fine. since im assuming the 1600 is dead i was wondering if there was anything else i should try before...

update, im going to rma it if possible. If not im going to send it to someone to see if he can try a different mobo. If after that i still dont have anything... im just gonna get rid of it and get a new one.

a few months ago i bought a ryzen 5 1600 and upon installing it into my computer refused to boot. The fans and lights came up but the monitor never came on. I put the ryzen 3 1300x back in and the system works fine. Any ideas?
