Question Time Hysteresis - Is there a setting in Lian-Li's L-Connect 3 to control?

I have the Lian-Li Uni fans, SL V2. Theyre connected to the controller that came with one of the packs. The controller is connected to the MB. The issue Im having is the constant up-down-up-down RPM increases when the CPU temperature fluctuates just a few degrees. What I want to do is set the...

Question Time Hysteresis - Is there a setting in Lian-Li's L-Connect 3 to control?

Is there a setting in L-Connect 3 to control Hysteresis? In other words, to control the temperature interval that the cpu temp (or other sensor) must shift before the fans will ramp up or down? Its quite annoying to hear the fans constantly shifting RPMs and then hearing the fans ramp up for...

Discussion Upgraded to a 3080 but same performance as 2070 Super it replaced

Hey, guys...I just upgraded (lucky) from an EVGA 2070 Super XC to an EVGA 3080 XC3 Ultra. I play World of Tanks and after installing the new card, installing the proper drivers, and no in-game settings changes, I'm still getting the same 115-120 fps on the 3080 that I was getting on the 2070...

[SOLVED] Case with interior SSD mounting

But I am referring to mounting the SSDs on the inside of the case, not behind the motherboard tray or underneath the PSU shroud...rather, mounting them on front on the motherboard tray or on top of the PSU shroud so you can see them when you look inside the case.

[SOLVED] Case with interior SSD mounting

I've resigned myself to getting a new case that comes with a PSU shroud (not real happy about this), but I know that I have seen cases with interior SSD mounting either on the motherboard tray or on top of the shroud. Case characteristics that are important: ATX; Mesh front; Support for 240/360...

Discussion PC Case with Mesh Front and No PSU Shroud

I don't think I've ever been so frustrated trying to find PC components as I am right now trying to locate a simple PC case with a mesh front and no PSU shroud. I have a beautiful set of custom cables that are really well organized coming out of the PSU and I don't want to hide them behind a...

[SOLVED] Upgrading to 10600k and need RAM help

I'm going to upgrade my current 4690K rig to a 10600K on a MSI MAG Tomahawk Z490 mobo. I'm OCD and want all four RAM slots filled, so I have been looking at 4x8GB RAM. I think I've have narrowed my choices down to: GSkill TridentZ RGB 3200 CL16 - F4-3200c16Q-32GTZR; or TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan...

4690K OC'd to 4.4ghz @ 1.165mv with a Cryorig H7 Lumi cooler. Within th elast year, I had this CPU throttling back automatically when it was not under load. However, it's now running at 4.4 100% of the time. Windows 10 - Power Settings is set to "Balanced"; Asrock Pro3 Z97 mobo - BIOS -...

    [SOLVED] Fan Congifuration Help

Thanks, John. I've actually set both of those fans to Silent and 0%, so they don't ramp up at all. Placement there is pure asthetics. I think I'll leave the bottom, but remove the top front since I can't see it anyway (and maybe use this fan on the cooler). Thanks for BIOS curve suggestion...

    [SOLVED] Fan Congifuration Help

Thanks, Barty. I have limited fan speed control in the Thermaltake software and don't yet understand how it interacts with the BIOS fan settings. In the Thermaltake software I can adjust whether the fan speed is PWM and I think then cap by setting a max percentage, for example, I can set PWM...

    Case fan setups

I've got a Thermaltake Core V31 that has a mesh front, so my case performs differently, but, I suggest running the fans at top and front as intake with a single fan at the rear. What I have found is the running exhaust at the top tends to steer all my front intake air to the top middle and top...
