So i recently downgraded my processor to 3600x to 3400g but the processor is not working. My 3200g on the other hand works but the 3400g is not despite not having any broken pins. I tried updating my bios. Fans, cooler are working, just no bios. Is the cpu dead?

So apparently i have a <removed> bad psu pairing with my gpu. (Gigabyte P550B) that causes bad coil whine and it's pretty annoying when playing Apex Legends even though it's capped at 60 fps. I want to undervolt my gpu in hopes of reducing the coil whine. Been following youtube tutorial videos...

So i finally installed windows 10. Downloaded the windows 10 update assisntant and it says its all updated. Did a sfc /scannow and no errors were found. Yet everytime i on my pc it says scanning and repairing drive for like 10 seconds and it'll boot up normally. What's the problem here?

Update: So i noticed that theres also a chipset update that i can do that supports my processor. Maybe thats the reason why my bios and chipset is not working properly. Will update it now and see what happens

Soo i cleared the bios again and it still freezes often. Tried playing valorant still laggy. I even used quickcpu to high performance still doesnt make any difference when it comes to playing valorant.

i did update the bios before installing the new one. Is that different from clearing the bios?
