I want to set up a raid0 after I get another raptor but have never set one up before. Is it still necessary to use a floppy to load the drivers with Vista 64 or are the drivers already a part of vista?

Save your money for now, buy one of the quad core 45nm cpu's when they come out. Eventually you will want to make the leap to vista 64 and 4-8 gb too. I have a similar setup to you but have 4gb in 64 bit, going from 2 to 4 gb doesn't make much diff, Yet. I will prob wait till 9800 prices...

I think I fried my mboard-increasing bsod's like every 15 min now. If I replace just the mboard with the same model do I need to re-install windows? My wife is going to kill me if I have to do that. FYI its a p5n32-e sli plus and I bumped the north and southbridge volatages one step the other...

I have a p5n32-e sli plus mb with e6700 oc to 3.4 ghz with 1gbx4 mem. I have't been able to find a stress test and accurate temp monitor to run. Does anyone with vista 64 have any advice? I would like to know how much more I can go with my setup Thanks in advance

I have the p5n32-e sli plus and with my voltages on auto OC to 3.4 ghz with e-6700 and zalman 9700. I didn't spend much time OCing so it will go higher but I didn't feel like spending alot of time getting that last bit and I wanted a stable OC. I doubt I will go sli as it is very fast already...

I'm sure a bios update will be coming to address this. I have 4gb right now, U just have to down clock or oc ur mem to run it. I know it dosn't like 740-870mhz. Everything works fine with 3 gb though. I am running mine at 875 right now even though mem doesn't like it that much..occ bsod...

I have the sli plus and am using corsair 6400c4 no prob. long as u arent running 1gbx4 u are ok. there is a prob running all four slots full right now.

Look at the p5n32-e sli plus from asus, its a more stable improvement on the 680's.

I really like vista too, and I made the jump to vista 64 and glad I did. I saw all the negative vista posts on these forums and espcially the anti 64 posts and was worried. I built a new system and wanted some growing room with ram. The jump to vista 64 is the way to go.
