I had an EVGA 3070 FTW3 which draws even more power so I wouldn't think that would be the problem but I could be wrong. I'm not sure if I'll be able to source a different PSU honestly. Is that the main guess for what could be wrong?
PC Specs:
Ryzen 5800x
MSI 4070 Gaming X Trio
Gigabyte Aorus Elite X570
EVGA 750 P2 PSU
32 Gb 3600Mhz Trident Z Neo ram
My first issue I had since I installed my 4070 is the screen would go black and fans would rev up 100%. This mostly happened when gaming or doing benchmarks. I think I...
I know I won't be able to get up to 3000 with my ryzen but I don't get why it's clocking at 1067MHz, that's really low. I did all the "try it" timings and now it won't even boot at 2133. Could there be a compatibility issue?
I recently ran a computer benchmark on my 2nd pc and realized my corsair vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 C15 ram wasn't running right at all. On user benchmark it stated: 16GB DIMM DDR4 2133 MHz clocked @ 1067 MHz.
Since then, I've tried running both xmp profiles, attempted all the "try it" options...
Tried ddu and it's still at 60. I just turned on overclock on my monitor to see if that will randomly change anything. For now I just keep unplugging and plugging in my cable whenever it goes back to 60.
I bought a club3d display port cable and it went back to 60 in a few days. I was hoping it would do the trick. Do you think it could be a monitor issue?
Ok I'm back. So I guess it takes about 9 days to reset back to 60. Any ideas on what could be causing this issue? There wasn't anything updated that I know of before it reset.
I tried reversing the ends and it automatically switched back to 144Hz but this has happened before and will switch back to 60hz after a day or two. I'll get back to you if/when it goes back to 60 for a more detailed time frame if that's even relevant to the problem.
I recently bought a display port cable so I could use freesync for my Dell S-series 144Hz monitor. When I first switched to display port, I could use freesync at 144hz but it reset back to 60hz after a few days leaving no option to switch back on either windows display menu or nvidia panel...
I've been experiencing the same issue with my b550 msi board. I've updated my drivers and bios and i'm still having issues. Is it just a motherboard hardware issue then?
Thanks for the reply, I did already have the USB HDD option already checked. I'm still stuck at the black screen. I tried unplugging my hard drive as well to ensure it wasn't trying to boot from that and still the same result. I'm at a loss for what the problem could be.
I'm building a pc using a bunch of older components I've had laying around and now that everything is put together, I can't get windows to install. I have the flash drive selected as the boot (afaik, the bios is old and simple) but every time I try booting it the black screen says "loading...
Thanks for the quick reply. I've read those threads already unfortunately and already tried updating windows as well as running in DX12. I really don't know what the issue could be..
Thank you for the detailed reply! I've been looking everywhere on how to turn on DLSS but the option is greyed out saying that an RTX card is required to use it. Any idea on how to fix that?
Running Control at medium settings with all RTX options enabled and I'm only getting 35~40 fps in 1440p. I just updated all my drivers and windows with no results. Anyone know what the issue could be?
