I plan on selling my current kit away once I upgrade to the new one in a few days...
However, it appears MSI has discontinued the motherboard as its page on their site is no longer available: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/H310M-PRO-M2-plus
Link returns a 404 error.
Weirdly they issued a...
Hi, I have a problem with my motherboard (Gigabyte B365-DS3H). It comes with the F1 version that it is not compatible with 9th gen intel processors. Is there any way I can update my motherboard without buying or borrowing an 8th gen cpu? Is there any cheap way to do it?
My motherboard is the ROG Strix Z370-E and unfortunately the BIOS is still not updated for a 9th gen intel cpu. I've heard of ASUS ROG USB FLASHBACK, but I am not sure if this model has it.
Thank you very much!
Hi, I ordered the MSI H310M PRO-VDH PLUS motherboard from amazon, because on both amazon and on MSI's website (https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/H310M-PRO-VDH-PLUS.html) it says this motherboard supports 9th gen Intel cpus out of the box. (Im planning on putting a i3 9100f in it). However I just...
So i am considering to buy an Intel i3 9100F for my build. This build includes a dedicated videocard. So i know the videocard has output ports but my question is: will i be able to use the video outputs on my motherboard or do i need a processor with integrated graphics for that?
I'm about to purchase the parts I need for a mini itx build in the SG13, but I need a motherboard that has out of the box compatibility with 9th gen intel cpu's so I can pair it with the i3-9100F. I really need some help because I can't get ahold of any of the manufacturers due to covid-19, but...

Hey guys!
I've been using my Haswell i5 4690k for around 5 years now and I feel like I could do with an upgrade - I'd also be able to take the opportunity to get new RAM, Storage, etc. I'm planning on upgrading to an i5 9600k, do you think I should upgrade or should I just overclock my current...
CONTEXT:
So i built this PC for a friend last week, it has an ASUS B360M-A motherboard, an intel 9400F processor, one SATA3 2.5" SSD (new) and one SATA3 HDD (used). To be able to use the 9th gen processor, i used an 8th gen processor to install windows 10 in the SSD, and ASUS Ez update software...
I recently built a PC for my friend with an i5 9600k and an Asus ROG Strix H370-F Gaming motherboard (without knowing that i would need to update my bios for it to suit a 9th gen cpu). I then bought a Gigabyte GA-Z270MX-Gaming 5 motherboard with an i5 7400, so i could use the 7400 to get into...
So basically, i bought an Intel i5-9400f from amazon, but i made a terrible mistake on not researching well into the motherboard-cpu compatibility stuff before buying. I was like "OK, since 300 series is supported, i'll get one easily", it's only now that i am coming to know that they apparently...

Courtesy of Puget Systems, we're slowly learning more about Intel's 14-core Core i9-9990XE. This new processor is certainly a rare breed of the company's highest performing silicon, but it doesn't even have a publicly listed product sheet. That's because Intel has only made the processor...
