Question 0-5 FPS on every game!

My girlfriends got a gaming computer and was struggling to get 30 frames on overwatch, she had a gtx 1050ti so I didn't think she should be getting that bad of frames. So I changed the gpu to a GTX 1070 and on the main menu of overwatch it was struggling to get 1-5 frames so I tried a few other games and all on the menu struggling to get 1-5 frames. These are her specs:

GPU - Geforce GTX 1070
CPU - Intel Core i7-7700k
Motherboard - MSI pro series B250
RAM - 8GB DDR4 x2
Windows 10

If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated!!

Make sure the monitor is connected to the GPU and not the motherboard. Also, download and use DDU to remove the GPU drivers and then install the latest version.
