Question 1080p not showing up

So i've had this problem for a while. my monitor is 2560x1080 and it ran fine on my old setup. I upgraded and now I notice that text looks very slightly blurry, and some images are pixelated. My GPU, Monitor, MoBo and CPU drives are all up to date, Adrenalin2020Ver says i'm running at 1080p, even Windows 10 display settings says I am. I have already tried screwing with my scaling options and no luck there.
My specs:
ASUS ROG b-450f
Radeon RX 5500 XT
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
monitor: LG 34BK650-W 34"

Looking for suggestions as to what I should do/try. anything helps!

Where else besides Display settings and Adrenalin software would it tell me what resolution i'm on?

They both say you are on 2560x1080?

Not familiar with Adrenalin 2020 but read this.

"Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.1. 2 is a notebook reference graphics driver with limited support for system vendor specific features. "

Yeah, they both say i’m on 2560x1080. The display fills the monitor perfectly, I just think it’s doing 720p.
I will try the 2019 Version once more.

Update: 2019 Version doesn't fix the issue.

There is a new version.....20.2.2....you could try that.

Also....when it's looking blurry try and shut the monitor off and wait a few seconds and power up. (something to try).

Nope, that didn't do the trick either. I even tried replacing the HDMI cable.
