Question 128gb SSD for Windows 10 OS and programs

I would like to know if 128gb SSD is large enough to run windows 10 and other progras like virtual machine, browsers, skype etc

You will soon fill it up if it's going to be the only installed drive --- you need at least 256GB.

But if you are pairing the 128GB with an HDD (for apps & games etc) it'll be okay.

With 500 GB SSDs like the Crucial MX500 at only $65, and in 1 TB variant at $110 ...why bother?

(Unless you are pondering a new laptop, and I'd personally just skip their tiny offered 'upgrade', just take the 500 GB spinner and clone/swap it with the above a week later; spinning drives in laptops are like watching paint dry)
