1GB 800mhz or 2GB 667mhz ???

Hey need help wana buy a ram for new system. should i buy 1GB 800mhz or 2GB 667mhz. my system will be

AMD X2 5200+
ASUS M2N SLI DELUXE
ASUS X1950 PRO

i uses my system mainly for video editing and 3d softwares and alot of games too,

assuming that you play games and don't mind ocing a bit, buy 2GB, it'll come handy when gaming and you can always oc 667 to 800 (depends on the ram and mobo of course).

1Gb 800mhz good for overclocking an minor games like solitaire, pong and Return To Castle Wolfenstien. 2Gb is better with newer games like BF2, Oblivion and Supreme Commander.

for video editing and 3d rendering the 2GB will do you better then the higher speed, because more of what you want to do will load in the RAM.

2 GB i say.You just wont notice the difference anyway.Unless you plan to OC.
BTW i OC mine at 1000MHz and guess what , no real improvement.

I'm a firm believer in having a minimum 1 gig ram - PER CORE.

go for the 2 gig 667.

bear this in mind: [2G 667] is faster than [1G 800 + pagefile].
