I'm deciding between two computers - one contains the GTX 550 Ti and one contains the GTX 555. Which one would be the better choice?

Basically. They both have an intel i7-3770 3.4 ghz. The one has 10 GB RAM, the other 8 GB. I don't think I'll ever need 10GB...

gtx555 stands for oem so you have no nvidia graphics card and no driver support

you gonna be very dissaopointed if you buy that pc with oem hardware

look it up on nvidia.com

but phisical there are no differences cause nvidia only baked one typ of 550 gpu`s
called GeForce GTX 550 Ti
so the extra 5 stands for oem and not differences in sillicum
