Hi all,
I have a Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ and the power supply has failed on me. The connector from the PSU to the NAS is a 20 pin connector. As this is my only NAS I really need a way of powering it on to recover the data on the drives.
I purchased a cheap PSU from eBay which had a 20+4 pin adapter but on arrival I noticed that 24 pin connectors have a pin missing (where the -5v pin would be on a 20 pin) and it did not power on the NAS.
Is there a way to use a 20+4 pin PSU on a machine that requires a 20 pin connection? Or will I need to find an old style PSU that just has a 20 pin connector?
Thanks in advance
