Hello, I've got a super strange problem... When I plug in my 2016 HTC Vive and launch SteamVR, everything works for like 5 seconds. Then, audio randomly changes output to this weird generic "USB audio device", which sounds really bad. If I disable this audio device in Control panel, all audio stops working. I've even tried uninstalling this device in Device Manager, but no luck. Now, how it used to work: I just plugged in the headset, and all windows audio was routed through the HTC-VICE display device, through HDMI.

The strange thing is: I shouldn't hear audio through the VR's audio jack If SteamVR is not runing. But I do. Seems like Windows recognized my VR Headset as a standalone Audio output device, which it should not. All Audio should be routed through the HTC-Vive display device.

I've isolated variables. Now Im for certain that it is a Windows driver issue, as always ...
How? I plugged the VR into my laptop, where it has never been. And boom it work flawlessly.
