2500 barton running at 1.5

hey i just finished building my new system with an AMD 2500+ barton on an a7n8x dlx. My cpu speed first showed as 1.1 mhz so i uped the cpu frequency to 133. Now it shows as being only 1.5mhz opposed to the actual 1.83 mhz. just wonderin if you all could help me. thanks a lot.

You'll need to set the FSB to 166MHz; that Barton is a 166MHz FSB CPU with a multiplier of 11.

i cant believe you bought that chip without knowing what core clock and multiplier it is supposed to run at!? You should do your homework man, your system will turn out 100 times better in the end. As far as you knew, your system ran on a 133 fsb!
