-Which CPU is better if only slightly overclocked?
-Which CPU is better with overclocking?

Solution
-Which CPU would be better for general gaming, internet and HD movie use? No difference. Both are already more powerful than necessary for the above uses.

-Which CPU is better without overclocking? 3770K but only in CPU limited situations (like video editing, modelling and simulation). If not, then no difference.

-Which CPU is better if only slightly overclocked? If clocked at the same speed, the 3770K. But only in CPU limited situations.

-Which CPU is better with overclocking? The 2600K reaches higher clockspeeds, which somewhat offset the 3770K's higher performance at a given clockspeed. So no difference really.

Overall, almost nobody will be able to see a practical difference between the two. For a start, the...

Overall, almost nobody will be able to see a practical difference between the two. For a start, the difference would only be evident in CPU limited situations. CPU limited situations are quite rare unless you're heavily into video editing, compiling or modelling work. For gaming and general use, you will lose nothing by getting an i5.
