Question 2nd HDD not showing up in BIOS or disk management after installing new SSD?

My 2nd HDD is not detected in BIOS or disk management anymore. This has occured after installing a new M.2 SSD. The SSD has been recognised by both disk management and BIOS but i cannot find the 2nd HDD anymore. The hard drive itself is still working and ive tried unplugging and plugging back in the SATA cables to no success.

FYI: The SSD doesnt have anything installed on it at the moment, my 1st Hard drive has the OS installed on it + some programs and my 2nd Hard Drive has some programs/games installed on it.

Any help appreciated!

motherboard? some port might get disable when you have m.2 ssd.
read the motherboard spec/manual on the manufacturer website

pcpartpicker says : "The motherboard M.2 slot #1 shares bandwidth with a SATA 6.0 Gb/s port. When the M.2 slot is populated, one SATA 6.0 Gb/s port is disabled. "

go to the manufacturer website. pcpartpicker might not have the full spec

Got it working
Had to reconnect the HDD to SATA 3 port as SATA 2 was occupied.
