Question 3080 B450

I have recently purchased a 3080 and installed it in my rig. I am very impressed with the performance, however, I am curious to know if it is worth upgrading my MSI b450 gaming plus max to a b550 for performance

As long as you are using a 16 lane slot, and not an 8x slot, pcie gen 3 is enough.
B550 offers gen 4 16x slots, but that really doesn't matter just yet.

For the 3090 you could make the argument, but not for the 3080.

Which CPU are you using and what´s your RAM model?

eventually update the BIOS of your motherboard to support resize bar (SAM)
