You have to check available options in your motherboard BIOS.
It may allow manual DRAM configuration.
Still won't go higher than 2933mhz.

My mobo doesn't support xmp ...and yet my current ram runs at 2666mhZ

So..without xmp I could still achieve 2933mhz ? I just don't want to waste money that's all

Can you check available dram configuration options in BIOS?
