Question 32gb 2×16gb ddr4 ram - 2 count (pack of 1) vs 2×16gb kit ?

Wouldn't cl22 cause me problems / lowered performance ? Everyone on the internet is against 22 and recommends 16 . I need to choose between cl16 2133mhz and 2933mhz cl22 ?
JEDEC timings recently have all been done keeping relative parity across the board for absolute latency. Absolute latency is determined by a combination of data rate (frequency) and CAS latency (CL) which means that 3200 CL22 is about the same as 2133 CL15.

To get absolute latency you can use this: (1/(DRAM frequency/1000))*CL

3200 CL22: (1/(1600/1000))*22 = 13.75
2133 CL15: (1/(1067/1000))*15 = 14.06

These numbers are the absolute latency in nanoseconds for data transfer.

**DDR means Double Data Rate so for example 3200 is actually megatransfers while the actual frequency is 1600Mhz

I'm sorry , I'm really not that deep into memory stuff haha so dont really understand this . Would cl22 hold me back considering my motherboard capabilities ?

With higher speed memory you'd be gaining capacity and bandwidth for a slight latency penalty. I doubt you will notice any difference in performance in most things and those that are different will depend on whether they're memory latency sensitive or bandwidth sensitive.

So all of the people in the forums that say cl22 is horrible are half right ?
