omg the prices you are putting are like 30% overpriced .. are you buying now or later ? and avoid Amazon italia buy from online PC shops. and dont depend on PC Price picker they dont know all the shops in Europe.

A bit quieter cooler, higher performance but quiet card, better case, this is not ryzen so 2800mhz rams, better performing quiet case fans and u really don't need that mobo for the parts you selected

What the guy above said is true for half of the countries in pcpartpicker, so yes this is just a reference.

All the mobo released after/with z270 support optane. Thunderbolt is being replaced by usb 3.1 so no worries.

1) Why the CRYORIG cooler instead of the Noctua? The prices are basically the same and the Noctua has more CFM
2) The motherboard was suggested because of the overall quality, the VRM possibilities in case I where to decide to OC, and all the added functionalities
3) yeah but this memory is too big for massive air coolers, the one I chose had kinda of a low profile and it didnt conflict
4) everybody told me that zotac and msi are bad and that the gygabite and asus ones are the best ones and Asus is also giving away the new assasin creed for free with it so why not
5) How many fans can this case have? it's not written on the website of the manifacturer. Also 3.1 its not avaiable with this case apparently
6)Why SeaSonic FOCUS instead of PRIME?
7) those case fans are nice!! Will replace them in my prototype build immediately

I will try to find resellers on amazon or other shops something else but I'd rather spend 10 euros more and be sure of the amazon quality than risk it

and buying in other european shops doesnt change the price much, american prices are just hella low compared to european, and especially italians ones; italy is a shitty country, allow me to say this

Also I'm buying as soon as I can, I can't wait more months

Check www.mindfactory.de

they send to italy andthey are the lowest prices in europe

and you are mistaken , it is not 10 euros ....

check the site and compare each item prices.

sure the noctua has more cfm, but that is not the deciding factor, fin area, heatpipe, static pressure also matters. and for the 8700k, both those coolers are more than enough for even a heavy oc. regarding ram clearance, the fan position is adjustable, but yeah, go with lpx to be safe.

the prime-a would still be enough for oc, its not a low end offering by asus. but if u want a more overkill mobo, thats ur choice.

i thought the pro version has the 3.1, bummer. here is an alternative https://www.in-win.com/en/gaming-chassis/909

the info on msi and zotac are not accurate, msi is a very big company with a strong presence. u will have no issues going with msi.

that focus plus is 850w and is already a comparatively quiet unit, with more headroom in capacity, it will run even quieter. further more, good cases dampen the noises a bit.

I just tried your website;

"Shipping to consumers outside of Germany is not available. If you have a valid VAT ID, please insert it into your account details."

A shame, because the cpu costed just 350 there.

But I'm using a website thata llows me to track prices all over italy and one to track prices between amazons, and I'm finding some deals that are maybe worth it.

Dont you have any friend who owns a business ?

anyways try these sites :

www.computeruniverse.net

www.caseking.de

www.alternate.de

I am sure they send to italy to consumers but did not link them because mindfactory is the cheapest.

Check this thread - there's quite a few stores for Italy: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1643019/guide-international-users-links-part-stores.html

NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. Do not do this. You do not want your air to recirculate. The goal is to move air out of the case and not back into it.

Guys I don't have the strenght to check every possible store/reseller in europe.. I will check some but 1) I really dont find ordering pieces from 3-4 different stores appealing, 2) not gonna order outside of italy if there isnt at least a 40€ discount since various deliver fees will add 20-30€ as far as I've seen, 3)alot of italian web stores look very sketchy and theres an history of italian web stores closing out of the blue but still taking in orders and money without delivering products so I kinda prefer ordering from amazon&other big stores even if I pay 100-150€ more and 4) no I dont have any business-owners friends

also positive pressure is bad? why?

In that post I put up - there is a section just for stores from Italy. That's why this thread exists.

And the vents are bottom mounted on modern cases because the idea is to move air through the case upward (bottom to top) and rightward (left to right). Any other method recirculates air, which can cause dust build up and long term damage to your components. It's called the "push / pull" method and it's really the most correct way to do things on an air cooled PC system. If you're spending that kind of money on a PC, you do not want to have your air recirculated.

No.
Put the PSU fan to the OUTSIDE of the case.
For a bottom mount PSU, the grill goes to the bottom of the case, and blows out the back, next to the plug wire.
Let the PSU draw in cool air from outside, and do its own thing.

(again, bottom mount)
If you have the PSU grill facing up (into the case), now you have competing airflow. The case fans trying to draw air out the top, and the PSU trying to draw air out the bottom.

You want air moving through the case. Not just bouncing around inside.
Let the rest of the fans in the case handle all the other components.
In the front, out the top/back.

? Not sure how it wasnt clear. The fan on top, so it exhausts the case. As opposed to the underneath case concept, which i call a wank, where air is drawn from outside and exhausted - only going through the PSU.
How do you guys figure that it recirculates the air??

Its how PC's used to be cooled. Only one fan - it was the PSU's exhausting the case. Make use of the PSU fan again.
Yes - In the front and out the back. Positive pressure from multiple fans in the front. Out via top exhaust fan and the bottom exhaust fan AKA the PSU fan.

The PSU fan?
There are two 'holes' for airflow in a PSU.
1 intake, 1 exhaust.

The exhaust goes out the back. Next to the cable.
That leave the other 'hole' in the PSU for....intake.

It does not blow both ways.

Graphics for clarity can be provided if needed.

The PSU doesnt need fresh air intake from outside, nor does it recirculate the air if you use it to exhaust the case (working along with the rear case exhaust fan).
In from front and out the back like you say. Whats this recirculation business?

i.e. having the PSU draw air from outside bottom of the case is just wasting a fan at best, and also sucking up dust from floor at worst - especially carpet. (filters can only do so much)

This is just some generic case I found online.
Red indicates the general airflow
Blue indicates the airflow through the PSU

Normally, you would also see an exhaust fan on the top, but I couldn't be arsed to take an extra 15 seconds to find a relevant case.
But you get the idea.

A bottom mount PSU, with the fan facing UP, simply does battle with whatever fans are trying to suck air out the TOP.
Additionally, you're sucking already warmed air through the PSU.
Additionally, with the fan grill pointed to the bottom, you can't accidentally drop a screw in it.

In the grand scheme of things, its probably not a lot of difference.
I remain open to be convinced, but you ain't done it yet.

Now that we've taken this completely off topic....

1st, that big red arrow needs to be more horiztonal. We are talking 2x 140mm fans on top of another at front intake.
2nd, we have 2x 140mm at rear (1x 140mm & 1x 120mm (if the psu fan is 120mm). Theres no 'competition'.

Air rammed in front and exhausted via rear.
Its simple, it works, it doesnt pick up dust, and its not making a single rear 140mm do all the work. I maintain if theres any flawed concept its the one in the pic

I was reconsidering the possibility of utilizing all of my budget and more and buying an i9. What would the best mobo be?

heres prototype:

Need case with window and all the features needed (thunderbolt, all the case fan spots filtered including bottom, etc.etc.) because all of this RGB is going to be wasted
Imma try to scout the other websites for prices, but tell me if you would change something
