350w psu

i have 4 gb ram
intel pentium g620
500gb harddrive
and a cd/dvd burner

my resolution is 1080p
but i dont have to play on that resolution or with eyecandy effects.
so will it work? thanks in advance.

For a system using a single Radeon HD 7770 graphics card AMD specifies a minimum of a 500 Watt or greater power supply. The power supply should also have a combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 23 Amps or greater and have at least one 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector.

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection! Total Combined Continuous Power/Current Available on the +12V Rail(s) is the most important factor.

a reference 7770 will draw 73 watts peak and 83 under stress while benchmarking (73/12=6.1amps)and(83/12=7amps)[rounding up]. but do not forget your cpu, hard drives and other peripherals also need the 12 volt rail.
overestimate 12 amps for that; 18 amps and to have the load be no more than 80% of the [strike]rated[/strike] continous amperage 18/.8= 22.5 amps with a 6 pin connector.

@OP: You're really skimming the line for the PSU. I suggest getting at least a 400W or 450W. Then you should be safe using the 7770.

Well you have 22 amps to play with.

a 65 watt cpu(MAX).
I would almost say it would work as long as the system is not pushed hard.

I am going with the power supply being able to deliver what it says(22A @ 12 volts)to give you some overage(The Hardware Canucks system takes MUCH more power then your system). If it cant, all bets are off

That power supply is closer to a 300 watt then anything else.

I would like to point out that I have a 5770(With i5 750 under volted) system with a 300 watt(FSP) power supply(and have been unable to pull over 180 from the wall )
