NeoxBlu1 wanted one of those (or the one down from it).
People told him it was a waste since the onboard is good enough - lag is not normally between you and the router - it's between the router and the server you connect to on the net 😀

Hey Neo, don't forget this. It will come in handy..

Just incase you want to carry your computer around, you gotta have internet at all times! Unfortunately the last 2 items I posted are for laptops. But I bet your tech guy can rig them up to work for you since he's the magic man. ::wink and the gun::

1) Spend $1500 on a decent gaming computer
2) Buy $500 worth of blow
3) Spend the remaining $2000 on hookers because that's the only p***y you'll ever get

And to think I was only kidding because I had thought no one in their right mind would buy that thing...

I don't think he has discovered girls as of yet. Thus the $2k on a pro would be an entire waste of $. However, I could sure use $2K worth of professional attention. Ya think he might give me the left over $ so I could spend it wisely?

LEFT OVER? the way hes going hes gunna need to borrow more from mummy and daddy... let alone left over

Totally off-topic, but chookman, you have the best quote ever! That is amazing....I can see the post right now: "umm...109c...are you sure it's my CPU overheating?"

As soon as I read, "Pentium 66mhz", I started laughing.

Borrow more from mommy and daddy? Nah, mummy and daddy are rich and they give junior all the $ he wants.

Okay, it is fairly obvious that this is a bulls**t thread. Some ******* just wanted to be a dick and say they were building a obnoxiously overpriced system to make everybody reply, and when people did (stating that he was stupid for wasting money) he would just ignore it, or reply with another question to just piss people off.

Stop replying with help, it is just a waste.

I think the help dried up a LONG time ago much the same as the 66mhz thread died REAL quick

To recap: your system costs $3885 and my system costs $1280.

Thus ur system should theoretically be 3.035 times more powerful and faster than mine. Why dont you build ur system first? Then we'll do benchmarking to see if ur system is in fact 3x more powerful than mine.

I guess what i am trying to say is that you are either too rich to know what to do with ur money or you are too stupid to be spending $4000 on a computer system that u think will be the most powerful when in fact it's not that much more powerful than a computer system that costs 3x less.

But hey, dont let me stop you from spending $4000 on your dream machine. After you've spent $4000 building it, you will come to realize that the performance that you've hoped for is all but a dream.

What? No Blu-Ray/HD DVD recorder?!?!?! No Killer NIC?!?!?!? Cheap skate... LOL 😀
