Nice article, Tuan.
A lot of people still linger under the misconception that because something has the Apple logo tacked onto it that it's somehow a superior piece of technology, that it somehow performs its functions better than products that don't bear the almighty glowing fruit.
Now that Apple computers are built almost exclusively using hardware manufactured by other companies, what you'll find under the hood is rarely different from the guts of a PC. Having moved away from purely proprietary hardware, the only distinguishing features are the operating system, aesthetics, and cost - and battery life, as noted.
Oddly enough, though, the myth of superior Apple hardware lives on in a lot of people.
E: Awwwwwww, I'm sorry that facts are so unpleasant, downvoters! Whether you want to accept it or not, under the hood, most of your Apple's parts are the same (if not a bit older) than the parts of the PC laptop across from you at Starbucks.
While I'm primarily a PC user these days, I also own an Apple, and there hasn't been a time in the last 15 years that I haven't - but that doesn't stop me from recognizing that the hardware isn't any different anymore. Facts are facts, I'm sorry they make you such sad pandas.
