We have a system with a 5600X in it that is continually running hot. We have tried multiple coolers and cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. Had a Kraken 120 originally mounted, the pump went out and the system started shutting down within a minute of boot.
Installed a Kraken X42, CPU was running at 65C-69C (on Package) on idle after 5 hours.
Installed a new Kraken 120, CPU was running at 54C-58C (on Package) on idle after 5 hours
Installed a Hyper EVO 212, CPU CPU was running at 60C-65C (on Package) on idle after 5 hours
In HWMonitor, CPU VDD bounces between .99V and 1.34V
Core Clocks are running between 3668MHz-4641MHz, it switches frequently
Everything is mounted in an H510, with very clean unrestricted airflow.
Any idea why the temps are so high?
