Hello guy's I am planning to replace my old PC that has a dead mobo and cpu... I have a tight budget and since I am using this for office work only and some light games like valorant . I already have 2 x 4gb ddr3 1333 ram which is only 4months old and brand new and this is one of the reason why I am more interested with this CPU and MoBo so that I can still use my RAM and also because of the price.

Solution
The Athlon 3000g would also require new ram, that they wish to reuse. OP what is the budget?
While I understand the desire to reuse the RAM, the problem is FM2+ is dead.

OP for comparison sake here is a benchmark of the A12-9800 vs Athlon 200GE. Note the A12 is 2c/4t (7480 is 2c/2t) with 10% higher base and boost clock speed. Overall the A12-9800 is one of the fastest of the Excavator CPUs and has the best iGPU in that line of CPUs.

Even with a 20% or higher clock speed deficiency (boost clock), the 200GE is faster than the 9800. The iGPU gaming on the 200GE is faster than the 9800 as well on average, even though it has fewer iGPU compute units.

The A6-7480 is based on the Excavator architecture. It has 2c/2t and built in GPU. Overall it is a very low end CPU and is one a dead platform. What is your budget as going with an Athlon 3000G (Zen architecture) would be a HUGE upgrade over that.
