Question 75hz Monitor only allows 60hz

Hey guys, I recently bought this Acer SB220Q for my first pc but for some reason when I try to change it to 75Hz, it only shows 1 option: 60hz. Anyone know how to change this? Im using a VGA cable.

You probably need to use HDMI.

another sort of connection, depends on whether your GPU/mobo has one, but looks very similar to HDMI.
