7750 BE VS. 9600?

okay im looking at the two processors. I dont do gaming. I do music editing. Pro tools editing, rendering blahabalblaha. Botto- line what would be the better processor? In general for music editing is quad core better?

It really depends on the software your using but most new professional level software is quad threaded. It would probably help if you were a little more specific on the software your using and specific things your doing, but it sounds like the Quad is probably the better choice for you.
