Anybody out there who uses Zalman Reserator1 Plus for a system that has 7900 GTX GPU; in particular, I am interested to find out if it is safe to use the GPU water block along with the RAM heat sinks (that are mainly designed for 6800 series) on EVGA 7900 GTX card.
Any suggestion highly appreciated.

I don't own a 7900 GTX, (hey, they cost a lot...I'm getting the 7900 GT instead) but I'm pretty sure that the water blocks should work fine. What are the RAM heatsinks made of? They will most certainly be of a higher quality than the stock heatsinks, so no worries there. However, don't take my word for it. I suggest that you ask a local computer store, they should have a good idea of what will work. If you're not overclocking, the heat should be no problem. If you are though...consult someone more intelligent then me. Anyway, good luck with keeping that monster cool. 😀

OK, for anybody interested, I just called Zalman tech support and the guy said that everything should be fine, just to keep an eye on the temp in case I do "abuse" the GPU.
