Question 9700K overclocking up to 5G

Hi guys

I am a rookie on over clocking, few days ago got a ASUS Z390 APEX and 9700K, started my overclocking trip.

here is my status now, I can running 5G(all cores) at core voltage 1.265( Bios setting), ASUS LLC at level 6, system running core voltage from CPUID HMmonitor is min 1.208V, max 1.279V

I passed prime 95 test small FFT for 6+ hours, large FFT for 18+ hours, and blender for 14+ hours.

But when I try 5.1G, it well need more then 1.32V voltage for stress testing, which I dont have powerfull cooler for long time testing.

so from 5G to 5.1G, the voltage gap is really that high?

or I did some wrong the settings?

depends on your temps, and yes there will be a point of diminishing returns and you will hit somewhat of a wall. what is wrong with 1.32? you make it sound like it is to high.
