A High End Motherboard without Integrated Graphics

I am planning to make a set up for video Editing. For that I have planned to by external Graphics Card. So, according to what I understand, it is better to have a motherboard without integrated graphics Card. The other component I have selected are:

* Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-2600 Processor
* Hard Disk: 500 GB SATA
* RAM: Kingston HyperX T1 4 GB : 2 x 2 GB Memory - DIMM 240-pin - 1066
* Graphics Card: ??
* Motherboard : ??

I don't want any bottleneck anywhere that will waste my money on the processor.
Can you please help me to decide about motherboard and Graphics card combination?

I will do HD video editing for short duration films. Adobe Premier CS5 and Final Cut Pro.

You can get a decent MB for $100 ASRock Z68 PRO3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard $99.99+$7.56 shipping. That's good for 1 video card and 4 sticks of DDR3 RAM. For about $20 more you can grt a MB for dual video but you probably don't need. it. Intel 2600 and 2600K both Hyper Thread, a desirable trait for video editing. More RAM is also desirable for photo editing. G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory would be a good place to start. $45. If you dont want to using the IGP (Intergraded Graphics on Processor) you can simply disable it in the bios and it doesnt take any resources at that point. Also the P67 chipset doesnt support the IGP so it is always disabled on P67 boards. But in the end if you add in a dedicated video card to a Z68 board that has the LucidLogix Virtu software you are going to want to disable it in the Bios to ensure that it isn't running. But if you do disable the IGP you won't be able to use the Intel Quick Sync which may give you some increased performance with video creation.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. I have looked for the products in Local Market and found that prices are much higher than the on-line price here becoz of some natural calamity at the vendor country... I have to buy this set up soon and I can not upgrade my budget... Can you suggest some other combination that may go below 500$... 🙁 🙁.. I dont want to compromise processor power so it has to be on other stuff...

I m not that techy .. can you please explain what happens when I do not disable LucidLogix Virtu software?? dose it hamper the capacity of the extra Card?
