My personal website, chock full of tips and other computer stuff. No ads, banners, or catches. It's currently based on Windows XP, but Windows 2000 stuff to come.

You can download the <A HREF="http://www.intel.com/support/processors/tools/frequencyid/freqid.htm" target="_new">Intel Processor Frequency ID Utility</A> for nada (that's free).

sorry, but I'm not in Windows XP. Plus, I don't recall the System Properties showing the processor speed. It doesn't in Windows 2000. Did you have it before? What did you change last before this happening?

You should be able to get it but if you don't, check your BIOS and you should be able to get the info there. BIOS may have a way of turning the CPUID off, check your manual.
