Howdy folks,

I've built a new box with the following specs

Asus A7V8X-X motherboard
Connect3D Radeon 9200SE video card
AMD Athlon XP 2800+ Barton Core processor
Seagate 120Gb 7200RPM HD
52x LG CD-ROM
52x32x52x LG CD-RW
2 x 512MB DDR400 PC3200 OEM RAM
SoundBlaster Live! 5.1
Mercury 56k Internal modem

and when I try to start the box, it boots like it seems it should, but I get
no video from the video card. I've had the video card checked by a local
computer store and they said it was functioning properly. Therefore, I'm led
to believe it's the motherboard and video card conflicting. Other than
replacing the motherboard with possibly a different one, does anyone have
any suggestions?

Try booting with a PCI video card to get access to the bios setup.
Disable 8X AGP. Worked for me with a Sapphire card.
