I must confess my ignorance and complete lack of experience with RAID.

I have 2 identical Western Digital Raptor drives set up on the SATA
connections. From what I have read, I can increase performance and not lose
any disk space with RAID 0. Is this true? Can I set up RAID 0 on the
regular SATA connections on the board or must I move them to the red SATA
connections? What do I do from there? I know..."read the manual", but I'm
having some trouble filtering the important info. So even pointing me at
the right instructions to follow would be swell...

Thanks,
Paul

You will get better disc IO performance with RAID 0 only in specific
circumstances. Under usual circumstances the amount of improvement is
negligible.

With RAID 0, if either disc drive fails you lose everything on both drives!

My recommendation is not to use RAID 0 - you are not likely to find your
system runs any better except maybe at boot time and run a far greater risk
of data loss.
