Abit IP35 Pro / DDR3

does this board support ddr iii, i have been searching on forums, the manufacturer website, and just general webpages to find it out. cant find anything on DDR3 and the board. Know one says it does / doesnt.

No, it doesn't.
Whenn DDR3 is available/affordable abit will bring out DDR3 mobos - e.g. for X38 they will have both DDR2 & DDr3 mobo versions.

Hey Buff. When would you imagine X38 MB's will hit the streets? I've heard as early as June, which is almost over, and as late as Sept., which is a long ways off. As cool as the IP35-Pro is, it doesn't get my jucies flowing.

Also, is there any word yet as to whether X38 will support SLI or Crossfire?

afaik late August or more likely September.

In theory it can do either/both as long as it has driver support.
It's the graphics driver that does the vast bulk of the work (needs a little BIOS help too) but e.g. nVidia's SLI driver checks for an nVidia chipset ...
