Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has installed an Arctic Cooling i30 on the Asus P8H77-V board? Just wondering if there are any clearance issues. My current (ancient) Asus mobo had clearance issues due to chipset heat pipes and my choice of cooler was restricted. Don't want the same situation. I've asked Arctic directly but they are taking their time in replying and I'm impatient when it comes to ordering new parts ;)

Cheers

Hey guys, turned out fine. Covers the DIMM slot closest the CPU fully but I think a low profile DIMM would still squeeze under it with about 1-2mm clearance. YOu could use tall heatsink DIMMs if not occupying all 4 slots.

For reference I've got an i5-3470 (3.2GHz) 35 deg C under load :D
