Hi,

Does anyone know how reliable/good Adata is and whether it is a good SSD? I am getting it purely because it is cheap for the storage quantity but wanted to check that it's decent before buying.

Cheers

It's 'fine'. Not the fastest, not the longest warranty etc, but that's reflected in the price.

For a cheap, large SSD, it's decent enough.

I've used quite a few ADATA SSD's as cheap upgrades to friends systems over the last few years (usually 120-250GB ranges) and haven't had any issues.

It's an ok drive, if your system doesn't have M.2/NVME capability. If it does, grab an Intel 660p instead. Similar in price, better warranty, and faster. The SU800 appears to be a bit better rated, and a bit cheaper yet, if you are limited to 2.5" drives.
