Quick question about Advance MAME: I realise I may not have Googled
or RTFMd enough, and may be missing the point enrirely, but:

Under MAME (running under the X11 environment) you can force it into
fullscreen mode (ie not running in a window) with the -fullscreen
argument.

Is there a similar argument for advmame? I've tried the usual and
had a good look through the config file but nothing obvious springs
to mind.

Many thanks.

In advmame.rc, change the display_resize option to fractional.

Ah, thanks. Just to check, though, that knocks it out of a window
and into fullscreen mode, yes?

Thanks. I'lll give that a try tonight.

Well, fullscreen and slightly stretched. If you use the tab menu in the
games, you can go to the video option and tinker with that particular
option. I understand that some people might want it to be arcade exact.
