Hey Guys,
thank you very much for your answers!
The card has no warranty anymore but insane how much it can take. I was playing with 100°+ for more then 30 Min then I thought it would be better to go back to the normal speed.
I am aware of the bottleneck problem. In fact I sent this email to two shops in the area:
----
I am looking to upgrade my old PC with a AM2 socket motherboard and a PCI-E video card and depending on the total price of the order maybe a Big Tower Case.
Important is that I can use these old components with the motherboard and that is has an PCI-E video card slot for the new video card.
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+, MMX, 3DNow (2 CPUs), ~3.0GHz, Socket: AM2
Memory: 2x 2048 MB RAM/266 MHz (DDR2 533)
Hard Drives: 2x IDE
DVD Drive: LG HL-DT-ST DVD/ROM GDR8164B (IDE)
Sound Card: Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio
Misc.: USB-Mouse, USB-Keyboard
I am not very picky when it comes to motherboards. The requirements would be: compatible with my old CPU (AM2), 1x PCI-E video card slot, 3-4x PCI slots, 2x memory slots, 4x USB slots and not a very expensive one.
Video cards is a little different. I am looking for:
-Radeon HD 4770
-Radeon HD 4850
-Geforce GTS 250
----
So I am going to upgrade to PCI-E soon
