I need help.
I built my first pc back in January. It runs fine.
Noticed a few issues at first, one of them being that all the USB’s would disconnect the computer would freeze and I would have to hard restart it.
This stopped for a while.
One issue that has been consistent is that when I boot the PC if it’s been powered down overnight for example, is that windows would load with the taskbar almost completely empty and I wouldn’t be able to interact with anything. I can only resolve this issue by waiting a good few minutes and everything does eventually appear OR to hard restart and everything’s usually there.
Recently, I’ve noticed since the latest windows 10 update, the usb problem is back. Only this time nothing freezes, it just disconnects everything and then reconnects it. It will do this a few times and everything will then go back to normal. It’s very disruptive however, especially seen as how I have about 20 devices that I use plugged in via USB a one of them being a wifi adapter. It will also temporarily freeze the task bar, similar to how it is when it boots on.
I’m perplexed as to what this issue is. I have scoured the internet for possible solutions and none have worked. I have checked all drivers, power options, even altered settings in bios. I’m concerned it’s an issue with the motherboard as I’ve been reading about AMD motherboards having issues like this.
I need my PC for my job and it’s currently wildly unreliable so any help would be greatly appreciated.
System specs:
Ryzen 7 3800X
Asus ROG strix B450-F
32GB RAM 3200mhz
RTX 2060
650W psu
